Lost again
Well I thought I had the WWF Intercontinental belt I started at $100.50 then 1 day later some one else started to bid as it was coming to an end I stop at $138.99 but as the seconds ticked away the biding picked up by other people and it finished at $169.99 so I lost again, but this is the shit that piss me off another Intercontinental sold as well and it went for $67.00 dollars what kind of shit is that. But there is one difference the belt I wanted had a white strap the other had a black one. I guess thats the deference.

Belt Collector
As you can see I collect wrestling belts but they can be very expensive so I do my best to get the one that I want the most if possible but lately I've been finding this to be very difficult. I have been going on ebay because you can find a great deal one guy won a bid for a WWE undisputed for about $ 87.00 dollars in very good condition so I always see whats going on with ebay. Then I saw what I was looking for a NWA tag team championship belt and the guy was selling it for $ 250.00 dollars he also had a best offer on it so I gave my best offer of $ 160.00 and I thought that it was mine because no one made a bid on it it only had two days left but I guess they was just waiting to see someone bid. Well someone else did with a bid of $199.99 and the seller did not even give me a chance to beat the bid he sold the belt to the other guy, So now I'm looking at a WWF tag team championship and a WWF intercontinental belt now I do want those belts but not before the NWA tag team belt well we shall see.

Red Strap for the 10lbs of Gold
This is a photo of the dome globe belt with a red strap on it when I first saw this I thought what are they doing why do the championship belt have a red strap but I found out that when the belt was first presented to Harley Race back in 1974 it had a red strap so I'm thinking that when I get the money Ill put a red strap on mine as well I think it looks good.

Giving up the Dome Globe
I got news that Ric Flair will be putting his NWA World Championship on e-bay for $75.000 thousand dollars due to a dispute with HighSpots and Flair. The word is HighSpots loaned Ric some
money and he didn't pay it back, But Ric side of the story is that he did pay them back by doing appearances for HighSpots plus there is also a dispute over some dvd's that HighSpots put out on Ric Flair from a Q&A session with him and Harley Race plus several shoot interviews. I know that Ric don't want to give up something that's got to be very precious to him but we shall see.

McMahon and the state of the wrestling world
If you did not know, This is a photo of the BOSS, Vinny Mac, VKM, or just Vincent K McMahon the owner, president, and CEO of the WWE/WWF wrestling promotion and this man has destroyed wrestling as we used to know it. Now how can I say that how do I know that well I used to be the biggest wrestling fan but now wrestling is just a shell of it self and McMahon is the cause of its down fall. Wrestling and all promotions used to be govern by territories including the then World Wide Wrestling Federation owned by Vincent J McMahon Sr. who believed in territories as well in 1963 Vince Sr withdrew from the NWA but he continued to sit on the board of the NWA in witch the NWA still respected Vince Sr territory of the northeast in 1982 Vince Sr sold the company to Vince Jr and in 1983 the WWF fully broke ranks with the NWA and began to promote out side of his territory he all so began to put his shows in syndication around the country his father thought this was not a good idea but Vince Jr continued on. Now at the same time he started to steal or take wrestlers from other promotion like Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, from the AWA Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff, Greg Valentine, Ricky Steamboat from the NWA to just name a few I mean can you imagine going in to WrestleMania with Bob Backlund as your champion I believe like a lot of other people that with out Hulk Hogan as champion Wrestle Mania would have failed. With the success of WrestleMania and the WWF as a whole other promotions did there best to follow suite but the dye had already been cast and one by one they fell apart. In 2001 McMahon bought out WCW and in 2003 he bought ECW they were his chef competition with bad management on the part of WCW and ECW going bankrupt I think he did what any smart business man would do, Take advantage of a good deal but instead of building up the WCW and not watering down the ECW to look more like the WWE he would rather shit on them. So now we are stuck with what we have now and that just fine with McMahon but what about us the fans, Like I said in my last blogg competition breeds innovation for the WWF to beat out the NWA in the 80's Vince created WrestleMania that's innovation in the 90's when WCW started the mondaynite wars and was winning Vince started the attitude era that's innovation and for the ECW to compete with both WCW and WWF they made there wrestling extreme that's innovation. Look don't get me wrong Vince McMahon is a smart if not brilliant business man with out him wrestling would not have achieved the heights that it had enjoyed so why bring it down to what it is today.

My Thoughts on Wrestling
I used to be a big time wrestling fan and it did not matter what kind of wrestling it was or what wrestling promotion NWA, WWF, AWA, WCCW, I loved it all. As a kid back in the 80's I could get up about 8:00 in the morning to catch the first show and catch the last show at 12:00 at night, And my number one promotion was the NWA and me being from the northeast I had to argue with a lot of WWF fans who was the best but all in all it was live and let live or at lease I thought. But Vince McMahon decided that he would take his WWF to all territories witch caused other promotions to fold or sell or try to compete, The AWA folded the Crocketts and the NWA tried to compete but because of some bad business decisions and Wrestle Mania the Crocketts felt that they had to sell and they sold the promotion to Ted Turner and he changed the name to WCW. I gave all my support to WCW all the way up to the mid 90's but some how I lost my love for wrestling and I didn't know why and at that time Monday nite wars was big the Attitude era had arrived. And for the next ten years I didn't watch wrestling did care that McMahon had bought WCW and ECW, Well a few months ago I bought a replica NWA Championship Belt the Dome Globe aka 10LBS of Gold and it got me to watching a little bit of wrestling and what a lot of wrestling fans had been saying I found to be true the WWE/WWF sucks to me they are still the best but not by much TNA is right on there heels McMahon bought his competition witch is good for him not for the fans you know what they say competition breeds innovation well right now there is no innovation. Well Ive been watching some NWA on Youtube and Its good to see that they still exist and I think they are starting to grow plus Ive been watching some ROH witch I think is very good maybe one day someone with deep pockets will help these two companies out and put them on tv and bring innovation back to wrestling.
